The Trade Justice Movement (TJM) is a growing group of organisations such as aid agencies, environment and human rights campaigners, fair trade organisations, including BAFTS, faith and consumer groups, which was formed at the end of 2000 as a means for people from a wide cross section of British society to campaign together to "make trade work for the whole world".
Having campaigned on trade rules for several years, BAFTS feels it can add experience & committed membership to the group. We will be part of something large enough to have a greater impact on the public & on decision makers in government. We are members of the planning group, & have participated in the TJM launch & the mass lobby of parliament.
